Coming quickly to SF: Bruce White’s “ICONS”

Spoke Artwork is ecstatic to be asserting our subsequent exhibition in San Francisco, artist Bruce White‘s ICONS. Outfitted with a recent crop of velvet canvases, Bruce has created a set of iconic portraits that includes champions of humanity and inclusivity. 

From popular culture giants to politicians combating for constructive change, this exhibition is a real celebration of the variations that may be made when range is championed. Bruce had this to say in regards to the inspiration behind this collection, “The earliest identified black velvet work had been introduced again by Marco Polo from Kashmir. As a result of the material was so costly, it was reserved just for portraits of royalty and spiritual icons, topics of reverence and worship.  I need to elevate and equate these heroes and allies of the LGBTQ motion to the extent of royalty and sainthood, celebrating the variety that shapes our standard tradition. “
